Green Birch Fantasy Leather Leaf Head Piece

This head piece is made up of 5 medium leaves, 1 large leaf, and 3 small leaves.

This head piece is made up of the Green Birch variety leaves I made up not long ago. They are dyed with a black acrylic dye. They are base painted with pewter and then spot painted with old ivy, metallic festive green, and light avocado. They are are then spot painted with acrylic dye silver. The large leaf has a large crystal rhinestone. They are then attached to barrettes that are painted with a pewter base in an attempt to help blending better. The findings for this are gun metal in color.

The barrettes work very well with this wig, holding the headdress in place. Each of the leaves on the end of the chains are light weight and can be placed in different placed on the head for different effects to the look. Because the wig has a net head cover under the hair the barrettes held very well. For regular hair, an optional headband could be used and could be made to easily convert. However, this piece works great in regular hair!
