Fantasy Fox Cowl - Main Color Spiceby ~Arexandria

Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Knitting

In a far away land there is a race of people strange and new. They are one with the land and the woods and each and everyone truly cares for and loves animals. That is why each and everyone wears some type of clothing item that personifies and animal. I have befriended and few and they have taught me the way of their people and how to create such items!

The cowl/hood you see here is a hand knitted item made to look like a fox down the the adorable little ears! The item is a mix of both knitted and seed stitching which can be seen at the edging of the cowl and the edging around the hood opening. There is also some minor crochet around the cowl opening and around the ear. The ears are double thickness with the main color showing on the back side and the inside showing a contrasting color. The knit is stretchy and extremely soft. This can be made for either a male or a female.

This particular pictured hood was made with Woolease thick and quick super bulky yarn in the color Spice with black and Houston Cream by Lion Brand Hometown USA for the inner ear. Due to limited colors of super bulky yarns available your color options are limited but don't be afraid to converse with me and I will do my best to find you what you want!
